Does the airflow actually do anything outdoors?

Yes — tested at all three speeds in real heat. One button runs everything: Press to cycle Low, Medium and High. Each fan pivots 45–90°, so you aim the air where you want it.

How do I install the fans?

1. Sit each fan over its brim opening, solar panel up.
2. Match the pins to the notches and press until they click into place.

How do I control the fans?

Do I need to charge it in the sun before using it?

No. Step into direct sunlight and the panels run the fans instantly. Use the Type-C battery when its cloudy or overcast.

Will the fans drag the brim down into my face?

No. The fans sit into rigid mounting rings, and the 5.5 inch brim runs on a wire-reinforced frame built to carry them. Water-resistant polyester keeps the fabric from softening with sweat or moisture.

Will it fit me?

Inner head circumference: 21–24 in, or 53–60 cm, or hat sizes: US & CN 6⅞–7⅜ / UK / AU 6¾–7¼ / EU 55–59. Tightening the crown cord takes it under 53 cm with some fabric gathering.

Will it fit over ear protection?

Yes, and headphones! The crown cord adjusts head depth, and the chin cord adds extra security.

Is it safe around long hair?

The fan blades are fully enclosed by a guard, though loose strands may blow toward the fans in windy conditions. Tie long hair into a ponytail or bun, gather it inside the crown, and tighten the crown cord to secure.

Are the fans loud?

You can hold a conversation and hear people around you comfortably. Plenty of customers work with headphones or earbuds in, and the fans don't compete with the music.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Both fans lift out, so you can wash the hat and clip them back in when it's dry.

The hat is made from water-repellent polyester that holds its shape — washing won't leave it limp. A low-heat iron takes out any creases.

Can I wear it backwards?

Yes. The fans pivot 45–90° so you redirect the airflow to suit whichever way you're wearing it. Forward for forehead and face cooling. Backward for neck, shoulder, and back airflow.
